On my days off you’ll find me…

Hanging out with my friends, seeing music, attempting to help my roommates make group dinners (but usually I just do the dishes). 

What was your favorite Halloween costume? 

I was a neon-green glowstick two years ago, complete with body paint. So yes, I really glowed. 

What’s your favorite piece at Gemvara? How did you customize it? 

One of the pieces I love is the Band of Brillance, in 14K rose gold with ruby. 

Perfect place to wear your piece? 

At work— so I can admire it while I type and I’m sure not to lose it. 

What was your first job? 

I was an ice cream server at Coldstone Creamery. They took themselves way too seriously and called the job interviews “auditions,” because we had to sing and be very animated while we served the ice cream. This was back in early high school during my theater phase, so I thought it would be a good way to practice my “craft” over the summer. It got very old, very fast.

What’s the most important part of a sandwich?

The dressing/spread/sauce ties everything together. 

Funniest Gemvara memory, so far? 

Taking over a karaoke bar at 6pm on Friday afternoon after the company scavenger hunt, which led to a lot of blackmail material.

Best part about working at Gemvara?

The people and the energy.
